About Dataset
This letter from the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation notifies a video conference under the chairmanship of the Joint Secretary scheduled for 3rd May 2019 to coordinate data collection on household water connections planned by states. The purpose of the video conference was to capture comprehensive data on the number of household connections planned to be provided by states up to 31st December 2019 and 31st March 2020. States were requested to depute their Chief Engineer for participation in the video conference. The data collected through this exercise was intended to inform programme planning, fund allocation, and progress tracking under the National Rural Drinking Water Programme.
