This dataset contains state-wise information on capacity-building initiatives undertaken to strengthen road safety management across India. It includes details of training programmes conducted for key stakeholder departments such as Transport, Police, Public Works Department (PWD), Health, and Local Bodies/Municipal authorities. The dataset captures the total executive staff, number of personnel trained, and departmental training coverage to support assessment of institutional capacity and workforce readiness. It can be used for monitoring training programmes, evaluating capacity-building initiatives, identifying skill gaps, and AI applications such as workforce analytics, dashboard development, resource planning, and policy evaluation.
