Directive for displaying information sign-boards at Jal Jeevan Mission water supply scheme sites to ensure transparency.
About Dataset
This directive from the National Jal Jeevan Mission instructs all states and union territories to display information sign-boards measuring eight feet by six feet at all Jal Jeevan Mission water supply scheme sites. The sign-boards must prominently display the JJM logo, total scheme cost, funding sources, implementing agency details, contact information of the Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer, Pani Samiti Chairperson, and Panchayat Secretary, along with scheme commencement and completion dates. This requirement is in accordance with Chapter 6.1 of the JJM Operational Guidelines and has been mandated following observations by NJJM field teams regarding non-compliance across multiple states.
