A set of polygon geometries for SHRUG-defined shrids (unique village-level spatial units), including quality control metadata.
The Shrid Polygons Dataset provides polygon geometries for SHRUG (Standardized Human and Regional Geography) shrid units, enabling fine-grained spatial analysis at the village and town levels. These polygons align with 2011 Census village boundaries, allowing for detailed research on economic activities, infrastructure, and spatial inequalities. Unlike standard village boundaries, shrids are uniquely defined within the SHRUG framework, making this dataset particularly useful for integrating spatial data with other SHRUG datasets. Quality control fields are included to help users evaluate data accuracy.
