Legal property cards issued to rural households through drone-based land mapping under the SVAMITVA scheme.
The SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas) scheme is a transformative initiative aimed at establishing clear ownership of residential properties in rural inhabited (Abadi) areas. Using advanced drone technology, the scheme maps land parcels and provides accurate Record of Rights to village household owners. These legal ownership documents—commonly referred to as Property Cards or Title Deeds—help reduce land disputes, enable financial empowerment through property-based loans, and promote efficient village planning and governance.
