It provides for mediation agreements, pre-litigation mediation, appointment and conduct of mediators, confidentiality, online mediation, community mediation, enforceability of mediated settlement agreements, and registration of mediators and providers through the Mediation Council of India, with a Schedule of disputes unsuitable for mediation.
