The Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI) – Wave I (2017–18) is a survey conducted to gather comprehensive data on adults aged 45 and above, including the elderly population across all Indian states and union territories. It covers key domains such as health status, economic well-being, social networks, healthcare utilization, functional and cognitive health, and family structure.
