This dataset provides data on peak electricity demand and peak demand met in India for June 2023.
About Dataset
It contains state‑wise (or national‑level) figures for the highest power demand recorded in June 2023 and how much of that demand was actually met (i.e. supply met the peak demand) during the month.
Purpose of Dataset
To Help Assess The Electricity Grid’s Performance Under Peak Load — Useful For Monitoring Demand‑supply Balance, Evaluating Adequacy Of Generation And Supply Infrastructure, And Informing Power‑sector Planning And Reliability Assessment.
