The dataset for Jashpur District (2019–20) provides a detailed breakdown of the teaching workforce across all recognised schools in the district. For each school (or aggregated at district-level), it includes: the number of teachers disaggregated by gender; their academic qualifications; their professional or teacher-training qualifications; the classes/levels they teach (from primary up to higher-secondary where applicable); the school category; and the school-management type (government, private, aided, etc.). This enables comprehensive analysis of teacher deployment and distribution including gender balance, qualification/training levels, class-level teaching coverage, and variation across different types of schools and management regimes which is valuable for assessing educational equity, resource allocation, capacity planning, and policy evaluation in Jashpur.
