Jal Jeevan Samvad – 25th Edition, October 2022 is a publication of the National Jal Jeevan Mission that documents developments, achievements, field experiences and important initiatives undertaken under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The issue provides an overview of progress in providing Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) to rural households and highlights the Mission's objective of ensuring regular and sustainable potable tap-water supply. The issue reports that, as on 31 October 2022, 10.44 crore rural households (54.52%) had tap-water connections, compared with 3.23 crore households (17%) at the launch baseline.
