About Dataset

Jal Jeevan Samvad – 20th Edition, May 2022 is the monthly publication of the National Jal Jeevan Mission covering major developments and field-level experiences under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The issue highlights the Mission's progress in providing Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) to rural households and presents comparative coverage of States/UTs, as well as progress in providing piped water supply to schools and Anganwadi Centres. The edition features the Prime Minister's views on Jal Jeevan Mission and a note from the Additional Secretary & Mission Director on Mission progress and priorities. It reports substantial expansion of rural tap-water coverage and emphasizes the goal of achieving Har Ghar Jal.
