For November 2022, States/UTs are presented in categories based on household tap-water connection levels, enabling comparison of their relative performance. A major section of the bulletin focuses on district-level performance. It identifies the best-performing districts, fastest-moving districts and districts that progressed to higher categories during November 2022. The district categories include Aspirants, Performers, Achievers, High Achievers and Front Runners, corresponding to progressively higher levels of tap-water connection coverage. It provides State/UT-wise data on districts according to the percentage of remaining households receiving connections. Detailed annexures provide district-wise performance marks and rankings, including the list of best-performing districts, fastest-moving districts and districts graduating to higher categories. For example, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, was ranked first among Front Runner districts based on performance marks.
