IoT Pilot Water Quality Monitoring

Technical specifications for Internet of Things pilot deployment in selected villages for real-time water quality monitoring.

About Dataset

This document provides detailed technical specifications for the Internet of Things pilot programme deployed in selected villages under the ICT Grand Challenge for the Jal Jeevan Mission. The IoT system comprises multiple sensor nodes strategically positioned throughout the water supply network including source nodes at service reservoirs, branch and District Metered Area nodes, and household end-point nodes. The sensors monitor critical water quality parameters including pH level, Total Dissolved Solids, residual chlorine concentration, nitrate levels, fluoride content, and arsenic concentration. The system also incorporates flow meters and pressure sensors for monitoring water supply quantity and distribution network performance.

Purpose of Dataset

To Deploy Iot-based Sensor Networks For Real-time Water Quality Monitoring In Rural Areas.
