State-wise data on installation of off-grid / decentralized renewable energy systems/devices (biogas, solar home lighting, pumps, biomass gasifiers, etc.) for 2009-10 and 2010-11 in India.
The dataset provides a breakdown by state (and Union Territory) of counts of different off-grid and decentralized renewable energy installations as of 31 March of the relevant years. The devices covered include biogas plants, water-pumping windmills, solar photovoltaic (SPV) pumps, solar home lighting systems (HLS), solar lanterns, solar power plants (small/off-grid), biomass gasifiers, and other decentralized energy technologies.
This Dataset Captures How Many Off-grid / Decentralized Renewable Energy Systems (And What Types) Were Installed In India — State-wise — During The Reference Years (2009-10 And 2010-11). It Helps Assess The Penetration Of Decentralized Renewable Energy Devices (Like Biogas Plants, Solar Pumps, Solar Lighting Systems, Biomass Gasifiers, Etc.) Across Various States. This Is Useful For Energy Policy Analysis, Rural Electrification Planning, Studying Renewable Energy Adoption, And Understanding Region-level Clean Energy Deployment.
