About Dataset

This letter dated 27th March 2019 from the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation requires states and union territories to submit information about Integrated Management Information System issues that were preventing accurate reflection of NRDWP coverage status. The letter introduces a coding system with Request Codes A through J to categorize various types of scheme status discrepancies, including cases where PWSS schemes marked as completed were actually ongoing, category mismatches, non-existent schemes, and other data integrity issues. The deadline for submission was set as 1st April 2019. The exercise was critical for cleaning the IMIS database and ensuring that programme monitoring and fund allocation decisions were based on accurate data.
