About Dataset

The dataset for Hisar District (2019–20) aims to provide detailed information about the teaching workforce in all recognised schools in Hisar under the UDISE+ system. It includes breakdowns by each teacher’s gender, academic qualification (e.g. graduate, postgraduate, etc.), professional qualification/training status (e.g. trained/untrained, diploma/degree, B.Ed. etc. where applicable), the classes they teach (primary, upper-primary, secondary, higher-secondary as applicable), the category of the school (e.g. primary, upper-primary, secondary, etc.), and the type of school management (government, private, aided, local-body, etc.). Using this data, one can analyze staffing patterns, distribution of qualified or trained teachers, gender balance among teachers, distribution by school category and management type — thereby enabling evidence-based planning, resource allocation, monitoring of human resources in school education, and assessment of equity and quality of teacher deployment in Hisar District.
