Himachal Pradesh Electricity Grid Code Regulations 2026

HPERC Grid Code 2026 shall apply to all Users that connect with and/ or utilize the Intra-State Transmission System (for the Intra-State flow of electricity) including State Load Despatch Centre, State Transmission Utility and all Intra-State Transmission Licensees and shall follow the principles and procedures specified in these Regulations to the extent it applies to them. For the Inter-State transmission of electricity, the CERC Indian Electricity Grid Code Regulations 2023 shall apply.

About Dataset

HPERC Grid Code Regulations 2026, shall apply to all Users that connect with and/ or utilize the Intra-State Transmission System (IaSTS) including State Load Despatch Centre, State Transmission Utility and all Intra-State Transmission Licensees and shall follow the principles and procedures specified in these Regulations to the extent it applies to them. (2) These Regulations shall apply for the Intra-State flow of electricity. For the Inter-State transmission of electricity, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2023 shall apply. (3) These Regulations shall not affect the obligations of the State Transmission Utility (STU), State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC) and Users as laid down under the CERC (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2023, and/or such obligation provided in the Electricity Act, 2003 and Rules and Regulations made thereunder.

Purpose of Dataset

In Order To Align The State Grid Code With The Indian Electricity Grid Code, It Has Been Decided To Repeal The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission Grid Code, 2008 And All Subsequent Amendments Thereof From The Date Of Commencement Of The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Grid Code Regulations, 2026.
