This dataset links Economic Census geographic identifiers to SHRUG units across 1990, 1998, 2005, and 2013 at the village and town levels, enabling integration of economic data with census and spatial datasets
The Economic Census Keys Dataset provides mappings between Economic Census identifiers (village/town levels) and SHRUG spatial identifiers (shrids), enabling researchers to integrate economic activity data with demographic and infrastructure datasets. This dataset is particularly useful for: 1. Analyzing firm distribution, employment trends, and industrial activity over multiple census years. 2. Comparing economic growth patterns at various geographic levels. 3. Merging economic census data with other SHRUG datasets, such as night lights, PMGSY roads, and SECC consumption data.
