This integrated dataset under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) provides daily-updated insights into the progress of Open Defecation Free (ODF) status across India. It compiles information from three key datasets: district-wise statistics on the number of blocks and how many have been declared ODF, block-wise data showing the number of villages and their corresponding ODF status, and district-wise details on Gram Panchayats and the number of Swachhagrahis—community sanitation mobilizers—engaged in the mission. These datasets collectively support real-time monitoring, planning, and evaluation of sanitation coverage at multiple administrative levels. By presenting structured data on both infrastructure development and community participation, this dataset enables policymakers, researchers, and local bodies to assess the impact of sanitation programs, identify gaps, and reinforce efforts towards universal sanitation.
