Refinery-wise and oil company-wise annual data on crude oil processed in India since 1998-99, with monthly breakups from 2010-11 onward.
About Dataset
This dataset presents refinery-wise crude oil processing volumes (in '000 Metric Tonnes) across all major oil companies operating in India, including Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and other public and private sector refineries. The publication provides annual time-series data from 1998-99 to 2024-25 (P), along with separate month-wise sheets for each fiscal year from 2010-11 to 2024-25, enabling both long-term trend analysis and intra-year seasonal comparison. It serves as an official statistical reference published by PPAC for monitoring refinery throughput and crude oil processing capacity utilisation across India.
