Assam Question Answer (QA) Dataset is a comprehensive collection of data about Assam, covering multiple aspects including history, geography, culture, tourism, administration, education, economy, wildlife, literature, and more. The dataset has been categorized across the following domains: History (इतिहास – 120 pairs): Chronicles Assam's rich historical legacy, covering the ancient kingdoms of Kamarupa and the Ahom dynasty, the Koch kingdom, the Treaty of Yandabo, the freedom movement, notable rulers such as Lachit Borphukan and Sukaphaa, the Vaishnavite movement led by Srimanta Sankardeva, and other significant historical events and personalities. Geography (भूगोल – 115 pairs): Maps the physical landscape of Assam, emphasizing its geographical location, total area, international and interstate boundaries, major rivers including the Brahmaputra and Barak, islands such as Majuli, mountain ranges, climate, physiographic regions, and district-level geographical features. Tourism (पर्यटन – 100 pairs): Highlights Assam's major tourist attractions and heritage destinations, including Kaziranga National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Manas National Park, Majuli River Island, Kamakhya Temple, Sivasagar monuments, Haflong, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, tea gardens, and other religious, cultural, and eco-tourism destinations.
