This dataset offers monthly CPI data (base year 2012 = 100) for rural, urban, and combined India up to November 2022, compiled by the National Statistical Office under MoSPI. Price information was gathered from about 1,114 urban markets and 1,181 villages, making it a comprehensive source for tracking month-to-month and year-on-year inflation at the national level.
