AI-powered medical simulators create realistic virtual patient scenarios to train healthcare workers and improve clinical decision-making skills.
Training healthcare professionals requires practical clinical experience and exposure to real-world medical scenarios. However, many medical institutions—especially in resource-constrained settings—lack sufficient infrastructure for simulation-based training. Artificial Intelligence can enhance clinical training by enabling interactive medical simulators that replicate real-life clinical environments.
The AI Medical Simulator (AIMS) is designed as a cost-effective platform to support training of healthcare professionals. The platform uses AI-driven patient models and virtual clinical scenarios to simulate diagnostic and treatment processes. Medical students and healthcare workers can interact with virtual patients, review symptoms, order diagnostic tests, and make treatment decisions.
