Technical Standards for Connectivity of Distributed Generation Resources Regulations, 2013 issued by the Central Electricity Authority, defining technical requirements for safe and reliable integration of distributed generation (below 33 kV) into the electricity system.
Technical Standards for Connectivity of the Distributed Generation Resources Regulations, 2013 issued by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) under the Electricity Act, 2003. These regulations establish technical standards and procedures for connectivity of distributed generation resources (below 33 kV) to the electricity system.
They cover requirements related to planning, design, protection systems, metering, safety, power quality (harmonics, flicker, DC injection), and operational coordination with licensees. The regulations also define conditions for interconnection, system studies, and performance standards to ensure grid safety, reliability, and efficient operation with increasing penetration of distributed and renewable energy sources.
