The Rainfed Area Development (RAD) Dataset is a structured compilation of data from the RAD programme, launched in 2014–15 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. RAD adopts a cluster-based, area-focused approach to promote Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) in rainfed regions, aiming to enhance farm productivity, resilience, and income through diversified cropping and allied activities.
